Do you offer gown cleaning and preservation?
Yes. After the wedding, we offer gown cleaning and preservation packages through Wedding Gown Preservation Co., even if your gown was not purchased at Amanda’s.
What is wedding gown preservation?
Wedding gown preservation is a specialized cleaning and packaging process designed to help your gown retain its beauty over time. A professional preservationist will evaluate your gown’s fabric, embellishments, construction, and stains before choosing the best cleaning method for your dress.After cleaning, your gown is carefully placed on an acid-free bust form and packed in an acid-neutral preservation chest with a clear display window, so you can still see your beautiful gown while keeping it protected.
How much does cleaning and preservation cost?
Cleaning and preservation starts at $429.This includes a wedding dress that is no older than 10 years, plus up to 5 of the following items:VeilShawlCapeRing pillowSmall purseGlovesGarterAdditional fees may apply for certain locations, including shipping to Hawaii or Alaska.
Is my gown insured?
Yes. Your gown is insured up to $2,000 through Wedding Gown Preservation Company.Additional insurance is available. Each additional $1,000 in coverage is $50.
What types of stains can be removed?

Are the cleaning methods safe for my gown?
Yes. Several different cleaning methods may be used depending on the gown, and each process is gentle and environmentally safe. Your gown will be professionally evaluated so the safest and most effective cleaning method can be used.
Does preservation prevent yellowing?
Wedding Gown Preservation Company provides a 100-year guarantee against yellowing and caramelized sugar stains. If your gown is found to have yellowed or developed caramelized stains during that guarantee period, they will reprocess the gown at no additional cost.
How long does preservation take?
Wedding gown cleaning and preservation generally takes 8–10 weeks.Once complete, your preserved gown will ship directly to your doorstep. A signature is required at delivery, so your gown will not be left unattended at your front door.
