Preservation refers to the special cleaning and packaging techniques used to ensure your gown retains its beauty. A professional preservationist will survey your gown—the materials, embellishments, and various stains—then formulate a specialized cleaning procedure.

Starting price for cleaning and preservation is $375. This includes a wedding dress that is no older than 30 years, and up to 5 of the following: veil, shawl, cape, ring pillow, small purse, gloves, and garter.

Additional shipping fees may apply if you live in Hawaii or Alaska

Your gown is insured up to $1000 through the Wedding Gown Preservation Company. If you would like to add more, each additional $1000 is an additional $50.00

There are several different processes that are used for cleaning. Each gown is evaluated upon its arrival and the best cleaning process for that particular gown is used. All of the processes are gentle and environmentally safe. Your gown is then fitted on an acid-free bust form and packed in an acid-neutral preservation chest. Don't worry, this chest has a clear window display so you can still see your beautiful gown!

They are able to remove approximately 95% of all stains – including tar, blood, perspiration, grass, mud, grease, and food, being the most common. As well as any sugar stains from cake icing, wine and other beverages.

The Wedding Gown Preservation Company provides a 100 year guarantee against caramelized sugar stains or yellowing. If at anytime your gown is found to have yellowed or has caramelized stains they will reprocess the gown at no additional cost.

Preservations generally take 8-10 weeks and will ship right to your doorstep! Shipping includes signature upon
received, it will never be left alone at your front door.
